1. How long will my first appointment be?

The first appointment will last up to an hour. As a new patient you will receive a free 30 minute assessment. The Sports Therapist will use this 30 minutes to take a subjective and objective assessment. A subjective assessment will be performed so the therapist can establish any problem areas, symptoms and treatment goals. The Sports Therapist will then perform an objective assessment, this can include testing your range of movement and palpating your muscles to find areas of tightness or concern. Once the Sports Therapist have performed a full assessment, your treatment can commence.

2. How long can I have a massage for?

You can book a 30 minute or a 60 minute massage session with a Sports Therapist at office@physio.co.uk

3. Will I be seen by a male or female therapist?

Our cpd workshops are held at a variety of our own clinics. You will be in a professional, clinical environment making the locations appropriate for the workshops. Our workshops are run by our own Physio and Sports Therapists again keeping the environment professional. The exact location of each workshop can be found on the Eventbrite pages.

4. How many massage sessions will I need?

The number of massage treatment sessions which are needed can vary from person to person. The Sports Therapists will be able to give you an estimate of how many treatment sessions you will need to achieve your goal after your initial assessment.

5. Will I have to take my clothes off for the massage treatment?

The Sports Therapist may ask you to remove items of clothing to allow them to assess the skin for your treatment area. The Sports Therapists will use a variety of towelling techniques to maintain patient dignity and comfort throughout the treatment session.

6. Do you offer packages?

Yes, we offer a range of packages to suit everyone. Please follow the link to look at our packages page, packages

7. Do the massage deals have to be used within a certain timeframe following purchase?

No, our massage deals and packages do not have an expiry date. Therefore after purchase they will remain on your account forever.

8. Can I use my massage deal in multiple clinics?

Yes, you can use your massage deal across multiple physio.co.uk clinic locations. Once you have purchased a massage deal (for example, 4 for £99 or 8 for £175) the money will go onto your account. Your account will be used to book your appointments at any Physio.co.uk clinic.

9. I am allergic to massage oil, can I still receive a massage treatment?

Yes, the Sports Therapists can either use talcum powder, your own lotion or no oil to perform a massage treatment. If you are aware of any allergies to massage oil then please inform a member of staff upon booking.

10. I don’t know which massage treatment to receive, what should I do?

Upon your initial assessment your Sports Therapist will be able to suggest an appropriate treatment modality based on your symptoms and goals of the treatment.

11. Will I feel sore the following day after my treatment?

If you have received a deep tissue massage or deep forms of sports massage then it is possible you will feel post-treatment soreness the following day. Post-treatment soreness usually feels tender to touch but the benefits in range of movement, stiffness, and muscular pains make it worth it.

1. Can you provide massage to organisations?

Yes, we offer all our massage services to organisations. Whether your organisation is an office, sports club or in performing arts we will bring our services to you. We will provide highly experienced therapists with all the equipment. Visit our who we work with page for more information

2. Can you provide a massage service within an office environment?

Yes, we tailor our service to you and your environment. We can offer short massages at workstations or we will bring a massage bed . We can use any available space you have to de stress and provide wellness to your colleagues.

3. What are the benefits of having a massage service within an organisation?

4. How long are the massage sessions?

We can provide treatment sessions from 15 minutes up to 1 hour. We can treat problems areas to individuals through clothing or with oil if appropriate. We will adapt our service to meet your needs. 5. What is the cost of a massage service for organisations?

6. Do you offer contracts?
