The first appointment will last up to an hour. As a new patient you will receive a free 30 minute assessment. The Sports Therapist will use this 30 minutes to take a subjective and objective assessment. A subjective assessment will be performed so the therapist can establish any problem areas, symptoms and treatment goals. The Sports Therapist will then perform an objective assessment, this can include testing your range of movement and palpating your muscles to find areas of tightness or concern. Once the Sports Therapist have performed a full assessment, your treatment can commence.
You can book a 30 minute or a 60 minute massage session with a Sports Therapist at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our cpd workshops are held at a variety of our own clinics. You will be in a professional, clinical environment making the locations appropriate for the workshops. Our workshops are run by our own Physio and Sports Therapists again keeping the environment professional. The exact location of each workshop can be found on the Eventbrite pages.
The number of massage treatment sessions which are needed can vary from person to person. The Sports Therapists will be able to give you an estimate of how many treatment sessions you will need to achieve your goal after your initial assessment.
The Sports Therapist may ask you to remove items of clothing to allow them to assess the skin for your treatment area. The Sports Therapists will use a variety of towelling techniques to maintain patient dignity and comfort throughout the treatment session.
