Louise Rigby

Sports and Exercise Therapist
Louise graduated in Sports and Exercise Therapy BSc (Hons) from the University of Central Lancashire in 2015. As part of Louise’s degree she has experience in human anatomy and biology, the assessment, prevention and rehabilitation of injuries.Through her time at University, Louise gathered extensive massage and sports therapy experience which included working with the Fijian rugby league team and gaining work with the Rochdale hornets rugby league club.

Alongside her degree, Louise is Level 2 emergency aid and trauma management trained and has a vtct level 4 certificate in sports massage therapy. Louise is a member of the Society of Sports Therapist’s which allows Louise’s role to perform massage therapy, mobilisations, taping and exercise rehabilitation.

Louise strongly believes in our service values and believes the role of a sports therapist extends further than simply treating patients. Louise believes in recognising our patients goals and needs so that the treatment given is more effective and appreciated.
