Sophia graduated from Charles University, Prague in 2017 with a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy (Hons) and she is currently finishing her studies of Sports Physiotherapy MSc from European University Cyprus. During her studies Sophia worked in different clinics in Prague and Cyprus and she had a chance to practice physiotherapy in the National Stadium in Cyprus. Her postgraduate studies involved courses of manual therapy, cupping therapy, trigger point treatment, myofascial release, kinesio/dynamic taping, ergon therapy (IASTM). Additionally to her degrees Sophia has completed sport massage course in Manchester and an acupuncture/dry needling course in Cyprus.
Sophia used to be an athlete competing in the Cypriot Junior National team as a sprinter. After an injury that she had, she knew that she wanted to become a physiotherapist. She is a passionate physiotherapist and massage therapist. Sophia focuses on improving conditions of her patients and help them recover in a functional way to prevent further injuries and/or reduce the risk of pain recurrence.
